1. Content Ownership & Copyright Responsibility

• All authors/writers submitting content (eBooks, articles, poems, blogs, cover images, etc.) to Pustakvani confirm that they are the rightful owners of the submitted content or have obtained all necessary permissions and rights to publish and distribute the same.

• Pustakvani is not responsible for verifying the originality, copyright status, or legality of the content uploaded by authors or contributors.

• In case of any copyright infringement, legal dispute, or third-party claim, the entire responsibility will rest solely with the content submitter (writer/author/publisher).

• By submitting content, you (the author) indemnify Pustakvani and its parent organization from any legal liabilities, losses, or claims arising due to your content.

2. Content Verification & Monitoring

• Pustakvani does not manually check, proofread, edit, or approve content before it is made live on the website, except for technical formatting issues where applicable.

• All submitted content, including but not limited to books, blog posts, and poetry, is user-generated and published as-is, based on the author’s declaration of ownership.

• We reserve the right to remove any content without prior notice if we receive complaints or discover that the content violates our platform’s policies, Indian laws, or third-party rights.

3. No Guarantee of Storage or Backup

• Pustakvani is not responsible for maintaining permanent storage of your uploaded files, book data, cover images, or blog submissions.

• While we try our best to maintain backups, we do not guarantee file preservation. Authors are advised to keep personal backups of all files submitted to the platform.

• Loss of data due to technical issues, hacking, or hosting errors will not be the liability of Pustakvani.

4. Digital Publishing Terms

• By uploading content to Pustakvani, the author grants a non-exclusive license to digitally publish, distribute, and sell the content through Pustakvani.com and affiliated platforms.

• The author retains full copyright of the material but must ensure that the content does not violate any laws, does not include obscene or defamatory material, and complies with Indian publishing norms.

• Authors may remove their content from the platform at any time by sending an email request. However, Pustakvani may continue to serve previously purchased copies to buyers as per applicable purchase agreements.

5. Limitation of Platform Responsibility

• Pustakvani provides a publishing and selling platform and does not act as the publisher of your content in a traditional sense.

• We are not liable for:

  • Sales performance of the content

  • Reader feedback or criticism

  • Technical issues in buyer downloads

  • Legal issues arising from misleading, false, or plagiarized content

6. Termination or Suspension

• Pustakvani reserves the right to suspend or terminate any author account without notice in case of:

  • Repeated copyright violations

  • Fraudulent activity or false claims

  • Submission of harmful or illegal content

  • Misuse of platform resources

7. Agreement

By registering as a Writer/Author/Publisher on Pustakvani and submitting any content, you agree to all the above terms and accept full responsibility for your content, including legal, ethical, and technical implications.
